Niko Angelis was born in Samos, Greece. He studied Architecture at the Universities of Bath and UEL in England where he focused in Urbanism and Art respectively. Environmental interests and concerns lead him to further his studies in the field of Environmental Design Engineering at University College London. He has worked in Greece and the US for award winning Architectural design studios. STUDIOANGELIS was established in 2003 in the US and three years later relocated in Samos. The design practice combines Architectural Services, Furniture and Object Design, Art and Graphics. The studio's work is influenced by early modernism and attempts a subtle balance between aesthetics and technology. |
