Niko Angelis was born and raised in Samos, Greece. He studied architecture in England where he had the opportunity to explore and further develop his abilities in drawing and photography. In the US he explored and widely exhibited a diverse body of work which includes oils on canvas and installations. His work combines contrasting elements such as the human figure, organic forms, abstract expressionism and conceptual ideas. During his stay in the US Niko contributed several essays and articles on art subjects in various local and national electronic and print media. His artwork has been purchased by collectors in the US and Europe and published in various media. |
