this work was created in a small flat in soho. at the time i was seeking escape from the frantic city life. in the absence of someone to hug/ love/ be close 2/ i created a soft space. it was really, a momentary love affair with my new sony digital camera. looking back (a year later) i think these inages express unintentionally even, some of the agony/ irony/ stress i was experiencing at the time. being in familiar places after years of absence i rediscovered the memories i once abandoned; the present and past intermingled and confused me yet, i could not comprehend the one without the other.
